Project & Infrastructure Context
Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) — Power Transmission & Utilities Diversion — Key leadership role supporting the utilities diversion phase on the Lower Thames Crossing, ensuring safe excavation in close proximity to live high-voltage and gas networks.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational H&S support across deep excavations and utilities diversions
- Review risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work for high-risk zones
- Monitor site operations, lead incident investigations, and enforce Zero Harm standards
- Engage with National Highways, statutory undertakers, and project joint ventures
Required Qualifications & Experience
- NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety. CMIOSH or working towards. Demonstrable experience managing safety on major utilities or civil engineering projects.
