Project & Infrastructure Context
Power Transmission & Distribution — Scottish Energy Infrastructure — Lead and manage multidisciplinary Project Engineering teams delivering all design and engineering works for high-voltage transmission and substation projects.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of Design & Engineering project scope to programme, budget, quality, and safety
- Identify and mitigate engineering risks and lead the Design Delivery Team
- Lead technical engagement with clients (SSEN Transmission), consultants, and suppliers
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with UK grid codes and Balfour Beatty standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status. Proven track record leading engineering design teams on infrastructure projects.
