Project & Operational Scope
We're looking for a General Foreperson to join our Severn Trent Framework Location: Sheffield Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
We're looking for a General Foreperson to oversee day-to- day construction operations related to the development and construction of water and wastewater treatment works.
This is an exciting opportunity to ensure all work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the required specifications, whilst managing forepersons, supervisors, subcontractors, and resources on-site.
What will you be responsible.
Core Responsibilities & Impact
- Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or relevant technical field.
- Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
- Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.
Compensation & Employee Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
