Project & Operational Scope
We're looking for a Highways Operative to join our team based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our highways maintenance team, where you'll play a vital role in delivering essential carriageway, footway and drainage works across the local area.
As part of a close- knit team, you'll contribute to improving and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our communities connected.
Core Responsibilities & Impact
- Deliver high-standard engineering, technical, and operational execution in line with Kier safety, sustainability, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client stakeholders, design partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure milestone adherence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, CDM guidelines, industry technical standards, and environmental requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement, value engineering, digital delivery, and best practice across the scheme lifecycle.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or relevant technical field.
- Demonstrated background within UK infrastructure, construction, civil engineering, water frameworks, or transportation projects.
- Strong communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and technical project delivery capabilities.
- Commitment to safety leadership, collaborative working, and high-performance delivery.
Compensation & Employee Benefits Guidance
Estimated Remuneration: GBP £28,000 - £29,800 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
