Project & Context
Curzon Street station £800m HS2 project in Birmingham city centre within the Project Controls team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with disciplines to establish, monitor, and update project budgets throughout the lifecycle
- Monitor actual quantities and costs against forecast and budgets, identifying variances and reporting findings
- Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) systems integrating cost, schedule, and scope
- Prepare regular cost and quantity forecasts highlighting potential overruns and recommending corrective actions
- Review, analyse, and process change orders ensuring all cost impacts are captured
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Solid background in construction financial management and EVM principles
- Experience on mega-infrastructure or rail projects
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or relevant financial discipline
