Project & Context
Chief infrastructure office of semi-state organisation in Ireland delivering Offshore Wind projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage offshore wind electrical infrastructure projects from concept, feasibility, statutory planning consent to handover for detailed design and construction
- Apply strong technical knowledge of high-voltage offshore transmission, export cables, and grid substations
- Maintain quality systems, manage procurement, budgets, stakeholder engagement, and statutory consents
- Conduct site visits to offshore wind asset locations in the South East of Ireland
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years infrastructure and power-systems experience
- Strong understanding of offshore wind high-voltage AC/DC systems, grid integration, and statutory consenting in Ireland
- Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland/IET) preferred
