Project & Infrastructure Context
Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) — Critical National Grid Infrastructure & Net Zero Transition — Join Balfour Beatty’s Power Transmission & Distribution business as a Planning Engineer and play a key role in delivering the infrastructure that powers millions of homes across the UK while supporting the transition to Net Zero.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fully resourced, logically linked Primavera P6 programmes across all project stages
- Create and present compelling tender planning submissions and progress dashboards for clients (National Grid, SSEN)
- Collaborate with project directors and engineering teams to identify critical paths and delay mitigations
- Perform earned value analysis and resource levelling on major substation and transmission schemes
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent. Proven experience as a Project Planner using Primavera P6 on infrastructure or power projects.
