Project & Infrastructure Context
Power Transmission & Distribution — High Voltage Power Cabling Schemes — Hold overall accountability for the safe, profitable, and on-time delivery of major underground power cabling projects (up to 400kV) across the UK.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex power cabling projects from initiation through commissioning and client handover
- Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
- Manage project budgets, P&L, contract change management, and supply chain partners
- Ensure compliance with National Grid and SSE technical policies and Zero Harm safety standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience delivering major underground high-voltage power cabling schemes. Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management expertise.
