1. Understanding the TSS Subclass 482 Visa
The TSS 482 visa enables approved Australian businesses to address local labor shortages by recruiting overseas talent.
Essential Criteria:
- Nomination by an Approved Sponsor: The Australian employer must be an approved Standard Business Sponsor (SBS).
- Experience Requirement: At least two years of relevant full-time work experience in the nominated occupation.
- Salary Threshold (TSMIT): The nominated salary must meet or exceed the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold ($73,150 AUD minimum) and match the Annual Market Salary Rate (AMSR).
