Project & Infrastructure Context
Sizewell C — Heavy Construction Plant & Piling Machinery — Provide workshop and mobile plant maintenance support for busy heavy plant operations on the Sizewell C nuclear project.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and maintain heavy plant machinery, hydraulic rigs, and piling equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and execute rapid repairs to minimise downtime
- Coordinate spare parts ordering and maintain strict maintenance compliance records
- Work in accordance with strict nuclear site environmental and safety standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Time-served Plant Fitter / Heavy Mechanical Engineer with NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance. Significant experience with heavy construction plant and hydraulic systems.
