Project & Infrastructure Context
Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2) — £2.1bn High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Subsea Link — Support the delivery of a Right First Time quality culture across the landmark EGL2 project, connecting renewable Scottish wind power directly to Yorkshire.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement quality assurance activities across HVDC converter and cable packages
- Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure client/statutory standards are met
- Perform quality audits, monitor subcontractor compliance, and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure accurate quality records, test certificates, and handover packages are compiled
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Level 4+ qualification in Quality, Construction, or Engineering. CQI Affiliate/Member. Experience in quality assurance within energy, utilities, or heavy civils.
