Project & Infrastructure Context
Plant & Piling Maintenance Depot — Bottesford — Support the depot maintenance team with repair and fabrication of piling rigs, augers, casing, and heavy specialist construction equipment.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Assist in welding, cutting, and fabrication repairs on heavy foundation equipment
- Carry out MIG and MMA welding tasks under supervision following approved weld procedures
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tooling and structural attachments
- Maintain safe workshop practices and clean working environments
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Welding qualification (or working towards NVQ / City & Guilds). Experience with MIG and/or MMA welding on heavy structural steel.
